Our facility uses strict physical security measures, including access control, surveillance, environmental monitoring, and power redundancy.
Ownership & Legal
1. Who owns the mining hardware during the hosting period?
You, the client, retain full ownership of your mining hardware at all times during the hosting period. Hamus Hosting acts solely as your hosting provider—we supply the secure facility, power, cooling, monitoring, and maintenance services, but we never take ownership or title to your miners/ASICs/GPUs. You ship your own equipment to our facility (or we assist with sourcing if needed via partners), and it remains your property throughout the contract. This is standard in our agreements: the miners are clearly identified by serial number/MAC in the contract, and you continue to control earnings via your chosen mining pool/wallet.
2. Is my hardware considered separate property if Hamus Hosting faces financial difficulties?
Yes, your hardware is distinct client property and is not considered part of Hamus Hosting’s assets in any insolvency, bankruptcy, or financial difficulty scenario. Under applicable EU/Norwegian law (where our primary facilities operate), customer-owned equipment hosted under a service agreement is protected as separate property and not subject to claims by creditors of the hosting company. We emphasize secure, transparent operations in jurisdictions with strong legal protections precisely to safeguard your investment (as highlighted in our ASIC hosting guides). In practice, if such an unlikely event occurred, you would have the right to retrieve or arrange removal of your miners without them being treated as company property. Our General Conditions focus on service continuity and fair termination, reinforcing client protections.
3. Can Hamus Hosting move or relocate my miners without consent?
No, we cannot relocate or move your miners to a different facility or location without your explicit prior consent. Any potential change in hosting location (e.g., due to capacity expansions or optimizations) would be discussed with you in advance, and we would seek your agreement before proceeding. Our contracts and operations prioritize predictability and client approval for significant changes—your miners stay where you agreed unless we mutually arrange otherwise. We value long-term trust and transparency, so we communicate openly about any facility-related matters.
